
We are between the Selkirk and Cabinet Ranges in the middle of the Idaho Panhandle, 80 miles NE of Spokane, Washington, 50 miles from Canada, and a 7 hour drive east of Seattle. About 6,000 people live in town, and another 25,000 in the surrounding Bonner County. Lake Pend Oreille is 43 miles long and a maximum of 1100 feet deep. We are bounded by the Kaniksu National Forest. The winter climate is milder than is found to the east and summers tend to be dry and clear.
